Doom Patrol: Sex Patrol

We see several familiar faces return, someone go through some changes, and a seriously freaky party, even by the standards of this show. Parts of it are exactly what it sounds like as we deal with “Sex Patrol.”

Young Justice: Another Freak

After a lot of setup, we get a tragic origin of an important character in the DC Universe, especially in the ranks of the younger ones. There’s also a first day of school, the introduction of a minor Bat-character, a much-needed attitude adjustment, and a few deep cuts for trivial side characters.

Stargirl: Brainwave

While there’s a lot of focus on one character, we see bits and pieces of a few other things of importance. I love that they are throwing in so many things for long term readers like me, but you don’t have to know them to follow the story.

Doom Patrol: Pain Patrol

Things have been going worse than usual for the Doom Patrol, and that really says something. The group has never been more fragmented, and now they get a visit from one of Grant Morrison’s creations, which never goes well.

Doom Patrol: Tyme Patrol

The repercussions from the big reveals at the end of season one are still echoing through the team. The Doom Patrol wasn’t all that together before they learned the depths of the Chief’s betrayal, and they’re less united now.

Legends of Tomorrow: Swan Thong

The entertaining misfits that make up the Legends of Tomorrow are a lot of fun to watch. They’re not exactly a serious show, breaking the fourth wall at random, making all sorts of in-jokes, yet still managing to save the world, history, or time itself on occasion.
