Just a few quick thoughts on The Mandalorian and Grogu… I liked it? I guess that’s true. But it was kind of dumb. It felt like they turned season 4 of the show into a movie and put it behind an even bigger pay wall than Disney Plus. It’s very easy to see where each episode ends…

My biggest issue with The Mandalorian and Grogu is that it’s boring – for the reasons I mentioned in the video. This seems like a good time to break out the “its stylistically designed to be that way” George Lucas quote because I really think that’s the case. This movie feels like it was designed in a lab to not offend anyone. But it also probably can’t delight anyone either. I don’t see how you could be mad about this movie, I don’t see how you could be excited and telling all your friends that you loved it and “it’s the best Star Wars yet”or whatever.

It’s bland, but it’ll make the corporation profits. I’ll leave the appropriate meme below.
