Legion: Chapter 24
At the end of last episode, David decided he’d had enough from Division Three, and announced, “It’s war.” Well, he wasn’t kidding.

The end of the season is fast approaching for the Agents of SHIELD, and things are building to a head. After the stunning end of last episode, with May walking into holding and shooting Sarge over and over, everyone is at a loss.
To no surprise at all, Frank managed to end up in a fair amount of trouble in the first episode of his second and final season. An unknown foe is sending skilled teams of mercenaries after a girl he met at Lola’s Roadhouse, Frank’s new friend Beth getting seriously wounded in the major fight.
Last episode, “Blindsided,” was a lot of action and focus on our titular character, Matt Murdock. Matt is barely in “The Perfect Game,” but we learn a lot about Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, and see a good bit of the rest of the cast.
Time is a big part of Legion’s third and final season. Time’s also running out, as Chapter 23 is the halfway point. The show remains as oddly surreal as ever, and the David vs Division Three war gets more complicated.
Jon Bernthal’s portrayal of the Punisher on Netflix has really impressed me. He wasn’t originally supposed to have his own series, but the fans reacted so strongly to his work that Punisher was added to the lineup.
One of the things Daredevil has been great at is action. The fight scenes are done really, really, well, setting the bar higher for tv shows as far as I’m concerned. The realism they manage to capture, even with someone who is supposedly a master fighter like Matt used to be and is on his way back to, is very impressive.
In the comics, one of the important facts about David “Legion” Haller is that his father is the famous (or infamous) Charles Xavier, Professor X, founder of the X-Men. This episode finally addresses that, although with a few changes to the story.
A few of the rapidly spinning plots are starting to converge already as the third season of Daredevil starts picking up steam.
This season of Agents of SHIELD seems to be flying by. The menace of the Shrike and the mystery of Sarge are progressing, bit by bit, as the team tries to figure out what’s going on and FitzSimmons tries to get home.
