The big CW Elseworlds crossover continues over on Arrow. The episodes debuts the new voiceover for the series, but it’s being done by Barry because of the body swap, which is a really nice little detail that they probably spent more than they needed to on.
I’m a superhero geek, and I really enjoy it when someone does something particularly good in the genre. The last several years, the CW/DC Comics shows have done an annual crossover, and I think they’ve been getting better and better.
Part four of Crisis on Earth X jumps in exactly where part three ended, as Legends of Tomorrow finishes the team-up.
The big crossover, Crisis on Earth X, continues in its third part on Flash. Several of the heroes are in what appears to be a concentration camp, and things are looking grim.
The Crisis on Earth X continues with part two, as Arrow shifts to another night for the fun. Part one ended with Prometheus held captive in the Pipeline, pulling his mask off.
Last year, the big CW-verse crossover was about aliens attacking. This time, the threat comes from somewhere else. Last year, they also made the Supergirl episode barely a part of it, and they fix that this time around.
Flash and Supergirl team up again, although in a unique way this time out. It’s the much-hyped musical episode as the Fastest Man Alive, the Girl of Steel, and various guests get ready for, “Duet.” The antagonist this time around is the Music Meister, whose only other appearance wasn’t in the comics at all, but…
Last episode, we saw hints of a major bump in the road for Kara and Mon-El. This time, that kicks in to high gear. There’s also trouble in paradise for Winn and Lyra. It’s not a great episode for couples, but then, that’s probably why they called it “Star-Crossed.” Things start off going fairly well,…
The big CW-crossover concludes on Legends of Tomorrow, which also shares the “Invasion” title. Their “previously on” scenes seem to be focusing hard on Flash’s changing time before. That’s interesting considering the Legends have made several changes this season, some deliberate and some by accident. Not to mentions Sara’s repeated attempts to assassinate Damian Darhk.
The massive CW crossover continues with Arrow’s part of the “Invasion!” At the end of the Flash episode, we saw a good chunk of the Arrow cast beamed up by the Dominators. Now we get to find out what happened to them, along with a few scenes of what the others are up to. Well, most of them. As I commented about in my Flash review, Artemis is never seen, mentioned, referred to at all. Rory gets a passing scene, but no in-costume action.
