Young Justice: Outsiders: Princes All

Young Justice, a fan favorite show, was cancelled by Cartoon Network. One of the great things about modern times is that fans get more of a say in what’s happening, and, after several years, the DC Universe platform brought the team back

Flash: Liberation

After a not-great return, Flash gets back into the swing of things with this week’s episode. The Fake Iris mess comes to a head, there are some unexpected reversals and a great scene with a secondary character who usually doesn’t get to do much.

The Most Anticipated Comic Book Movies of 2021

Due to the worldwide Covid-19 outbreak, this year’s comic book movie release schedule has been delayed.  Many comic book movies scheduled for theatrical release in 2020 have been pushed back to later in the year or to 2021.  Because the coronavirus outbreak is a fluid situation, it’s difficult to know what will and will not change. Here’s what we know so far about superhero movies coming out in 2021:

Batwoman: A Narrow Escape

Kate shockingly broke the hero code (which doesn’t seem to apply to most CW heroes anyway) when she lost it and killed August Cartwright. I’d argue the world is a better place without that psycho, but it’s taking a toll on Kate.

Harley Quinn: Riddle U

There’s a new status quo, such as it is, in Gotham, and Harley is absolutely not accepting it. Echoing the major No Man’s Land story from the Batman comics, Gotham has been given up on by the government and divided up by many of Batman’s major foes.

Legends of Tomorrow: Zari, not Zari

Ray and Nora are gone now, and the team is trying to deal with their Encore problem, the search for the Loom of Fate, and Zari 2.0. Add in a few personal subplots and a sort of semi-crossover, and there are quite a few balls in the air in “Zari, Not Zari.”

Flash: So Long and Goodnight

The looming threats of the Black Hole organization and Eva and her Mirror Universe shenanigans are back to make life complicated for the West family and their STAR allies. I have to admit, I was really looking forward to the shows coming back, and I found this to be a disappointing start. Or re-start.

Harley Quinn: New Gotham

Season Two begins with “New Gotham,” which is an interesting little mess. As a quick recap: the Justice League is trapped in the Fairy Tale Realm, Joker is MIA possibly dead, Batman is missing, and Gotham is in ruins.

Focus on: Stargirl

With the new show set to debut in May (unless something else changes, always possible these days), I thought this was a good time to do a profile on Stargirl. As with any character that’s been around a while (she debuted in 1999), her history has gone through a lot of changes and can be…
