Agents of SHIELD: Toldja

The Agents of SHIELD are now in the back half of their season. They’ve managed to reunite Fitz and Simmons, so fifty-fifty they get split up again soon. Earth has a new threat or two, depending on how you count Sarge and his crew.

Iron Fist: Duel of Iron

The season, and sadly series, comes to an end for Iron Fist. I know this was the least popular of the Netflix/Marvel shows, but I’ve been a longtime fan of the character, and even most of those who have problems with the show agreed the second season was a big improvement.

iZombie: Fresh Princess

The end is near for iZombie, sadly. “Fresh Princess” is episode nine of thirteen in this season, and that’s the last one. Things are building to a head between Fillmore-Graves, the Dead Enders, Liv’s Renegade network, and everyone else caught around the edges.

Krypton: Will To Power

Three episodes in, you could make the argument that not a lot has happened so far this season. Zod still rules Krypton, the resistance is, well, resisting, and Seg and Adam are still stuck on Colu dealing with the sorta-ghost of Brainiac and the very real Lobo.

Legion: Chapter 20

After a longer than normal break, Fox’s Legion returns for its third and final season. The show remains just as surreal as it has been the last two seasons, although with a major status quo change.

Doom Patrol: Paw Patrol

The fifth episode of Doom Patrol, “Paw Patrol” sounds like a kid’s show. Of course, it’s very, very much not. They change up a few things for the show, focusing mostly on Crazy Jane, or parts of her.

Agents of SHIELD: Inescapable

With an ensemble show like Agents of SHIELD, there’s always a balance to be considered: plot, character development, and who gets screen time. This season, they seem to be shifting around and focusing on smaller parts of the team for scenes or even episodes. In “Inescapable,” the focus is on SHIELD’s star-crossed lovers, Fitz and Simmons.

Doom Patrol: Cult Patrol

The Doom Patrol went from another obscure hero team to a collection of utter weirdness a while back. Much of this was from the writing of Grant Morrison, who excels at the odd and unusual.
