Titans: Jason Todd

After the surprise appearance of Robin II, Jason Todd, at the end of last episode, he and Dick spend some time together in the episode appropriately enough called, “Jason Todd.”

Titans: Together

After taking an episode to introduce the Doom Patrol ahead of their own series (a strange choice with so few shows in the season), the Titans’ fifth episode, “Together,” finally does have the four main characters spending time together.

Titans: Doom Patrol

Episode four of the Titans is “Doom Patrol” and that pretty much says it all. It’s an odd choice to detour to an entirely different group so early in the first season of a new show.

Titans: Hawk and Dove

   The DC Universe live action Titans continues with “Hawk and Dove.” That pair of heroes has had several incarnations, but this seems to be Hawk I and Dove II, the pair that had their own series for a while in the 90’s.

Some thoughts on the Titans trailer

I’ve been reading comic books since the mid-80’s and watching them on screen since the first Christopher Reeve Superman, Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman, and those horrible cheesy 70’s live action movies of both Captain America and Spider-Man.

With the introductory special out of the way, the new Titans book has begun for real. At Dick’s loft in Gotham, the team is getting used to the return of their forgotten friend, Wally West. Lilith tries to help him piece together some of his missing memories, but some of them are proving hard to reach, which likely isn’t good. Despite the fact that Dick is one of the best detectives on the planet, it’s Garth that comes up with an idea for their next lead.
