Agents of SHIELD: Leap

The end of the season is fast approaching for the Agents of SHIELD, and things are building to a head. After the stunning end of last episode, with May walking into holding and shooting Sarge over and over, everyone is at a loss.

Punisher: Fight or Flight

To no surprise at all, Frank managed to end up in a fair amount of trouble in the first episode of his second and final season. An unknown foe is sending skilled teams of mercenaries after a girl he met at Lola’s Roadhouse, Frank’s new friend Beth getting seriously wounded in the major fight.

Daredevil: The Perfect Game

Last episode, “Blindsided,” was a lot of action and focus on our titular character, Matt Murdock. Matt is barely in “The Perfect Game,” but we learn a lot about Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, and see a good bit of the rest of the cast.

Punisher: Roadhouse Blues

Jon Bernthal’s portrayal of the Punisher on Netflix has really impressed me. He wasn’t originally supposed to have his own series, but the fans reacted so strongly to his work that Punisher was added to the lineup.

Daredevil: Blindsided

One of the things Daredevil has been great at is action. The fight scenes are done really, really, well, setting the bar higher for tv shows as far as I’m concerned. The realism they manage to capture, even with someone who is supposedly a master fighter like Matt used to be and is on his way back to, is very impressive.

Daredevil: Please

The first episode of Daredevil’s third and final season set up the new status quo for most of the major characters, and introduced a new one. “Please,” the second installment, moves everyone further along their paths.

Daredevil: Resurrection

Daredevil follows Luke Cage and Iron Fist in coming back for a final season. The first episode is titled “Resurrection,” and since everyone thinks he’s dead, it’s a good pick.

Agents of SHIELD: Toldja

The Agents of SHIELD are now in the back half of their season. They’ve managed to reunite Fitz and Simmons, so fifty-fifty they get split up again soon. Earth has a new threat or two, depending on how you count Sarge and his crew.
