Season Two begins with “New Gotham,” which is an interesting little mess. As a quick recap: the Justice League is trapped in the Fairy Tale Realm, Joker is MIA possibly dead, Batman is missing, and Gotham is in ruins.

After five seasons, Gotham finally comes to an end. There was a lot of speculation about how it would end, and, among the fans, some worry. We didn’t need to worry. I think it was a perfect ending, and, for what they did, we couldn’t have had a better title.

Gotham begins its fifth and final season with an impressive opener. Borrowing titles from two different Batman stories, the season subtitle is “No Man’s Land” and the episode is “Year Zero.”
Stealing yet another classic story from the Batman mythos, Gotham ends their fourth season with “No Man’s Land.”
I’ve talked before about wondering why anyone would still live in Gotham at this point. Well, even worse than living there at this point is being mayor. They tend to die, get kidnapped, disappear, or be revealed as crime bosses.
Gotham’s A Dark Knight season continues with “Reunion.” It’s one of their simpler titles and it works on a few levels.
