Punisher: Gunner

We find Agent Madani a bit the worse for wear from the events of last episode. This one starts with her battered, bruised, and recovering, cut with a few flashbacks of the car accident (ok, it wasn’t exactly an accident) and Castle pulling her out.

Punisher: Resupply

The Punisher continues his first season as things progress for him, David AKA Micro, Madani, and her sidekick Sam. There’s a lot going on, and a side story with Louis and Curt as well. But Frank’s main focus is something important to any warrior: “Resupply,” as the title says. The show actually starts with Louis,…

Agents of SHIELD: Fun and Games

The Agents of SHIELD are heading for a milestone, approaching the 100th episode of the series. Before they get there, they hit another important event. “Fun and Games” marks the directorial debut, on the show at least, of Clark Gregg, better known as Agent (sometimes Director) Phil Coulson. With as much as he’s put…

Punisher: Kandahar

The third episode of Punisher’s first season is “Kandahar,” which seems to be where a lot of what’s going on was set in motion. It’s the only central point connecting most of the characters that are playing major parts in the show so far.

He quotes the nursery rhyme about, “One bright day in the middle of the night, Two dead men got up to fight,” which is one possible source of the title of…

Agents of SHIELD: A Life Earned

“A Life Earned,” part of a saying we keep hearing in the future of SHIELD, begins with Kasius and Daisy. Kasius is going on about how hard he’s worked to save humanity after Earth was destroyed. He also talks about the legends of SHIELD coming to the rescue, and isn’t too subtle in his threats to Daisy about how he’s going to make her talk.

Punisher: 3 AM

After doing so well in the second season of Daredevil, Punisher became the first Marvel hero to get his own Netfilx series after the original four. Jon Bernthal does a fantastic job playing him.
