Supergirl: Blood Memory

Supergirl is usually about her protecting the world. This time around, a lot of people are trying really hard to protect her.
Supergirl wraps up the annual crossover with “Elseworlds, Part 3.” Picking up pretty much where the last part left off, Barry and Oliver, now being seen as the outlaw Trigger Twins, face off against a black-suited Superman, who proves to be Dr. Deegan, the man causing all the problems for our heroes. The introductory voice over is even done by Deegan, although the phrasing sounds like it’s borrowed from Arrow’s usual lead in.
The battle against the racist (speciesest?) hate group Children of Liberty rages on in “Rather the Fallen Angel.”
Supergirl’s fourth season continues as Thanksgiving approaches and the cast has to answer the “Call to Action.”
This is a season finale. So there will likely be spoilers in this review. Bear that in mind before reading.
Supergirl starts rushing towards her season finale as the cast takes “Shelter From The Storm.”
This week’s Supergirl is called “Survivors” and that’s the running theme in the episode. They hit you with that early as Mon-El is shown barely escaping the destruction of Daxam at the time of Krypton’s destruction. We learn that Mon was a Palace Guard, and everyone (except maybe Mon-El himself) seems to think it’s a good idea to keep him confined at DEO Headquarters for now. Especially with more of his background in this episode, I’m a bit disappointed they aren’t at least commenting on his sharing the family name with both Superman and Supergirl. Maybe they’ll get to that later. Hank then surprises everyone by leaving for “personal business.”
