Among the many things I enjoy about the Legends of Tomorrow is the sense of humor and pop culture references. They have fun with that in their titles from time to time, and did for this one. “Necromancing The Stone,” is a call back to the Michael Douglas/Kathleen Turner action comedy, Romancing the Stone.

Legends of Tomorrow: Daddy Darhkest

Beginning their strange timesharing arrangement in Supergirl’s slot, the Legends of Tomorrow make their return from their long winter break. We got a hint when last we saw them about a special fan favorite guest star, and that gets follows up on this episode.

Constantine Returns!

After far too long, there’s some good news for Constantine fans. Many of us, myself definitely included, loved the show on NBC, which only lasted one season. Now the CW had announced an animated series on their “Seed” online network, much like the already extant Vixen. Matt Ryan was great on Constantine. After the cancellation, he did a single episode guest shot on Arrow, and then voiced the character in the Justice League Dark animated movie.
