Arrow: Spartan

The struggle with the Ninth Circle continues, as Team Arrow clashes with evil half-sister Emiko and Dante, we learn some of Diggle’s past that confirms a fan theory that’s been around for years, or seems to, and things get more complicated with Felicity’s Archer project in two different eras.

Arrow: Lost Canary

The titular hero takes a backseat on his own show once again to give some other characters air time. A recent subplot takes center stage, more of Emiko’s background is investigated, and another character takes their leave.

Arrow: Training Day

Team Arrow struggles to adjust to their new status quo in “Training Day.” While the team has some growing pains getting used to their new role, not to mention pressure from an old enemy, the future group is getting used to each other, and Laurel gets a new subplot. There’s a lot of interesting things going on this episode.

Arrow: Doppleganger

I have been disappointed in a lot of this season of Arrow. I’m finding the split teams story long and drawn out and often poorly written. “Doppleganger” finally shows signs of improvement in this slump.

Arrow: Collision Course

Several disclaimers here. This review will not be as spoiler free as most of mine are. And this is not remotely going to be a favorable review for Arrow’s “Collision Course” episode.

Arrow: All For Nothing

Arrow’s “All For Nothing” starts with Quentin and Oliver trying something new to get some help in the seemingly futile struggle against Cayden James. James continues to be one step ahead and virtually omniscient. Let’s just say that while Quentin and Oliver don’t get what they want, some ARGUS agents have a much worse

Arrow: We Fall

The very tense second half of Arrow’s season continues with “We Fall.” Cayden James is still running around the city with his mob of villains and thugs, the heroes are proving utterly ineffective at stopping him, or even inconveniencing him, and Team Arrow is still split in two factions. Someone needs to collectively slap some sense into all of them, but I don’t see any likely candidates on the horizon.

Arrow: Tribute

Last episode ended with the very public revelation that Oliver Queen is the Green Arrow. Again. What is this, like the third time this has happened? Fourth?

Arrow: Fallout

The other CW-DC Comics shows all had a 6 month gap between their seasons. Arrow, always having to be a bit different, went for 5 instead. “Fallout” is an appropriate name, as they very slowly tease us with who survived the blast on Lian Yu and who didn’t. I was hoping that, since they blew…

Arrow: Bratva

Oliver’s past starts to catch up with him on a few levels in “Bratva.” He’s in his office, swamped by paperwork, with Thea once again out of town. I’m starting to wonder if Willa Holland quit the show and they’re keeping it quiet. Oliver’s flirting with his girlfriend, reporter Susan Williams, gets interrupted when…
