Gotham: Let Them Eat Pie

Batman is one of the darker heroes out there, and a lot of his stories over the years have reflected that. Gotham is pre-Batman (and ever more off in its own version of reality, but that’s another issue), but it doesn’t go easy on the darkness. “Let Them Eat Pie” is one of their more disturbing episode so far, and at this point, that says something.

Arrow: Promises Kept

Things get complicated in “Promises Kept” on Arrow. A lot of the episode deals with Slade Wilson’s family history, which is a bit complicated on this show, and even more so if you’re familiar with his comic book history, which receives some major alterations here.

Supergirl: Midvale

With both the Danvers sisters suffering from heartbreak, it’s time to head home to “Midvale.” So, loading up J’Onn’s blue convertible, they go on a road trip.

Arrow: Deathstroke Returns

Deathstroke? Hey, I’m back too…

The episode “Deathstroke Returns” starts off from a different point of view. Specifically, we see Councilwoman Pollard, who only seems to exist to oppose whatever Mayor Queen is doing and generally be a pain in his ass, through a gunsight.

Flash: Girls’ Night Out

Barry and Iris’ wedding is creeping closer, and on any tv show that means it’s about time for some kind of disastrous and/or humorous bachelor/bachelorette party. The title “Girls’ Night Out” should give you an idea about what they’re going to be focusing on, although we see a bit of both sides. It’s also an excuse for a guest star or two, and a new introductory voiceover.

Supergirl: Damage

Supergirl’s “Damage” episode starts off with a slightly new voiceover. After they get through that, the Girl of Steel and her sister do a nice job of taking care of an attempted escape from a prison transport bus.
