Gotham: The Beginning

After five seasons, Gotham finally comes to an end. There was a lot of speculation about how it would end, and, among the fans, some worry. We didn’t need to worry. I think it was a perfect ending, and, for what they did, we couldn’t have had a better title.

Iron Fist: The City’s Not For Burning

The second episode of Iron Fist’s second, and regrettably last, season has the looming Triad war looking more and more likely, if not inevitable. Peace is not an easy thing among bitter enemies, and there are a few outside agents making things worse.

Cloak and Dagger: B Sides

The motif of the record store as some kind of supernatural crossroads popped up earlier this season. It gets looked at a lot more closely in this episode, which is mostly different versions of Tandy’s life.

iZombie: Thug Death

When I first heard about the iZombie show, I had some doubts. Something or other about it interested me enough to watch the first episode, and I was hooked. I’ve seen them all since, and I’m sorry this is the final season.

Venom

I’ve never been a huge fan of Venom. I’m a big superhero fan, absolutely, but Venom started as a supervillain who later became, at best, an anti-hero. He/they also have a very complicated history that needs to be greatly simplified whenever it’s adapted, for cartoons or the recent movie.

Flash: Gone Rogue

The saga of XS betraying her family, then not understanding why they’re upset, and everyone overreacting, continues. She’s back from the future and making new friends that Team Flash would definitely not approve of.

Arrow: Confessions

Arrow has had a very uneven season. Diaz was still lurking around for far too long, there was the new Suicide Squad Ghost Protocol Initiative, and various conflicts with Dinah and Laurel, and the “Who Is The New Green Arrow?” plot.

Legends of Tomorrow: Egg MacGuffin

The Legends face a threat from within, which claims a few you’d never expect. There’s also several nods to one of my favorite movies, some movement on a romance, and a subplot that’s been floating around for quite a while comes to a head.
