I’ve heard some people complaining about the slow build in Cloak and Dagger. Personally, I’m enjoying it and I think it’s fine storytelling.
Most of the titles for the Jessica Jones episodes make some sort of sense, and are often direct quotes from someone. If that’s the case for “AKA Pork Chop,” I missed it.
I’ve been reading comic books since the mid-80’s and watching them on screen since the first Christopher Reeve Superman, Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman, and those horrible cheesy 70’s live action movies of both Captain America and Spider-Man.

Time loops are a popular trope in science fiction, fantasy, and superhero stories. Recently, they’ve been in the Dr. Strange movie, an episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and the season finale of Supergirl. Now, it’s Cloak and Dagger’s turn in “The Lotus Eaters.”

Now that she’s sort of got her mother back, Jessica needs to decide what to do with/about her in “Shark in the Bathtub, Monster in the Bed.” Her apartment is getting crowded.
“I love superheroes!” enthuses Winston Deavor, one of the major players in Incredibles 2, and it’s pretty clear that writer/director/Edna Mode Brad Bird does as well.
