Flash and his friends struggle to figure out what’s going on, and they’re a few steps behind throughout the episode. Other surprises include more visitors, the truth behind an ally, some troubling decisions, and a shocking ending.
With the future of the Arrowverse in doubt, fans of the shows and shared universe need to potentially explore other ways to enjoy the characters. The Earth Prime series is a possible way to go, comic book adaptations of the shows that are, themselves, based on comic books.
DC Comics is releasing comics based on the various shows in a miniseries called Earth Prime. We’ve seen Superman and Lois, Stargirl, Batwoman, and the Legends of Tomorrow. Now, it’s time to visit Central City and see some of Team Flash.
When Flash came back for season eight, they started off with a five-part crossover event, Armageddon. Then they went on hiatus for a while. Now returned, the focus actually shifts away from the main characters.
Season seven of The Flash reaches its end amid the chaos of the Godspeed war. We get a resolution to that, several allies working together, an old enemy coming back, and a nice little family scene at the end. To my surprise, there was no big cliffhanger, which the CW usually does on their season finales.
The end is near… of season seven, anyway. The beginning of the two-part season finale has speedsters at war, two old friends coming back, more nods to the comics, and another attempt at redeeming a supervillain.
One of the things I really like about Young Justice is that their world is off on its own, so it has its own history and they can make changes and adapt things to fit their own mythos.
