An overview of the Justice Society of America

There are a lot of different expectations for the Black Adam movie, which comes out in the United States on October 21, 2022. One of the things that has comic book geeks like me excited is that it’s the first time the Justice Society of America will be in live action in theatrical release. With this exposing the JSA to a much larger audience than they’ve potentially ever had, it seems like a good time to go over the history of the team.

Earth Prime #3: Legends of Tomorrow

The third issue is about the Legends of Tomorrow, and, as with the others, they take a different spin on things. Over the show’s seven seasons, a lot of characters have come and gone. Between the main story and the backups, we get to see almost all the Legends that have left the team.

Young Justice: Influence

After the mid-season break, Young Justice goes on with their story. They have a lot of moving parts, and the settings range from a few familiar places on Earth to distant planets and space stations. The conspiracy against Earth’s metahumans, aided by villains and alien gods, gets deeper and more complicated, and they even work in a really obscure DC Character, as we see the spread of the bad guys’ “Influence.”

Stargirl: STRIPE

I was impressed with the pilot episode of Stargirl, and they keep the same level of quality in the second episode. We get a bit more backstory, see more of the opposition, and learn a bit about some of this world’s history.
