They continue Gotham’s current season with “A Dark Knight: A Beautiful Darkness.” This one opens with Ivy 3.0 and Selina robbing a rich family by making use of Ivy’s new influence power.

“X-Roads” is the second half of The Gifted’s season one finale. Things have been action packed up until now, and they keep going.
The Gifted wraps up their first season with a two hour finale, eXtraction and Xroads. Things have been getting bad for both sides as the season has gone on, and events build to a head as the Mutant Underground and Sentinel Services head for a major battle.
The Gifted is the first of the hero shows back from winter break. “3 X 1″ picks up shortly after the tragic events of the previous episode, “eXploited.”

The mid-season finale for The Gifted starts off with things looking bad, and ends with them being even worse. At the end of last episode, a good chunk of the team was captured by Sentinel Services. Now, the ones that are left have to figure out how to get their friends back and not get caught up in all-out war with the government.

Batman is one of the darker heroes out there, and a lot of his stories over the years have reflected that. Gotham is pre-Batman (and ever more off in its own version of reality, but that’s another issue), but it doesn’t go easy on the darkness. “Let Them Eat Pie” is one of their more disturbing episode so far, and at this point, that says something.
