Swamp Thing: Drive All Night

I’ve been enjoying this series for a few different reasons, from what I find to be decent writing to some interesting twists on the main characters to adding a few I never thought I’d see in live action (Blue Devil, Madame Xanadu).

Flash: A Flash of the Lightning

Last episode ended on a bummer of a note, as the Monitor dropped by to erase Nora’s goodbye message and bring grim tidings to Barry and Iris. There’s been a lot of advance buzz about the major crossover coming this winter, and this episode definitely contributes to the hype.

Supergirl: Stranger Beside Me

I thought the season premier of Supergirl was disappointing. Honestly, I disliked and/or disagreed with almost every choice they made. The second episode was a bit better, but honestly, that bar is practically subterranean.

Titans: Aqualad

Last episode of the Titans ended with a serious cliffhanger, Jason Todd getting captured through a combination of overconfidence and poor planning. To prolong the suspense, this episode ignores that situation entirely, being set roughly five years ago.

Batwoman: The Rabbit Hole

The pilot episode established the basics of what we needed to know about Batwoman, introducing the various characters, some back story, and at least the broad outlines of the status quo.

Flash: Into the Void

Season Five of The Flash ended on a serious downbeat, as the future was rewritten and Nora/XS was erased from the present. It was a shocking surprise, and an unexpected end to the season.

Supergirl: Event Horizon

In the fifth season of Supergirl, there are a lot of changes to the show. I have to say, overall, I don’t care for the ones I’ve seen so far, or most of the ones I hear are coming. Hopefully, if nothing else, they will at least stop clubbing us over the head with modern morality plays.
