Arrow has hit many milestones in its run, and now adds another trophy with episode #150, which is farther than a lot of shows make it.
I call myself a “hero geek” a lot. For me, I use that to mean I’m a huge fan of superheroes in comics, novels, tv shows, and movies.
Arrow’s 7th season continues with “Past Sins,” an episode I really didn’t care for at all.
Taking a familiar concept out for a new spin, much of this episode is narrated by the new Green Arrow.
The big CW Elseworlds crossover continues over on Arrow. The episodes debuts the new voiceover for the series, but it’s being done by Barry because of the body swap, which is a really nice little detail that they probably spent more than they needed to on.
I’m a superhero geek, and I really enjoy it when someone does something particularly good in the genre. The last several years, the CW/DC Comics shows have done an annual crossover, and I think they’ve been getting better and better.
Arrow finally gets a new direction with Oliver out of prison as we get two story lines that work for the title, “Unmasked.”
Oliver’s time in prison is supposedly about to end as we deal with “The Slabside Redemption,” an obvious play on The Shawshank Redemption, a movie based on a Stephen King story.
The season of Diaz evades everyone and the good guys kind of flail about continues as the team tries for some “Due Process,” an ironic title considering vigilantes skip that part of the law.
The saga of Oliver is in prison and everyone else fails to capture Diaz continues with “The Demon.”
