I call myself a “hero geek” a lot. For me, I use that to mean I’m a huge fan of superheroes in comics, novels, tv shows, and movies.
Arrow’s 7th season continues with “Past Sins,” an episode I really didn’t care for at all.
With the movie coming up soon, it’s a good time to ask “Who Is Captain Marvel?” As with most comic book characters who have been around a while, the answer is both, “It’s complicated,” and “Which one do you mean?”
Supergirl has been having a rough season, and it’s not getting much better in “Blood Memory.”
After taking an episode to introduce the Doom Patrol ahead of their own series (a strange choice with so few shows in the season), the Titans’ fifth episode, “Together,” finally does have the four main characters spending time together.
The last episode, “Penguin, Our Hero,” ended with a major surprise as Gordon’s Haven, the refuge for the lost souls of Gotham, blew up.
Things keep getting worse for The Gifted as the second season continues with “teMpted.”
Flash’s season-long hunt for Cicada lurches along with “Seeing Red.”
Black Lightning continues the second season of teen runaways and ridiculously long titles with “The Book of Rebellion: Chapter Three: Angelitos Negros.”
