Punisher: One Bad Day

        The second season of Punisher hits the rough halfway point with “One Bad Day,” which describes things for a lot of the characters. Then again, most of them have more than one.

Daredevil: Reunion

       The season, and sadly series, are drawing to an end as everything ramps up. Somehow, Matt is in worse shape than Dex after their epic fight, even though Dex fell about a story to a hard floor and landed on his back. I guess that Daredevil costume really is well armored.

Titans: Rose

  The season started with the defeat of Trigon and the team both splitting and relocating. Now we see what everyone has been up to, do a three month time jump, and starting setting up for new story.

Jessica Jones: AKA I Have No Spleen

      In the first episode of the season, we saw a shocking attack on Jessica. The second followed Trish through the changes she’s been going through since Malus’ treatments starting showing their effects. For episode three, we shift back to Jessica and her injuries, summed up decently by the title “AKA I Have No Spleen.”

Swamp Thing: Worlds Apart

One thing I’ve noticed with Swamp Thing so far, and many scenes in Titans, is that they are very dark. I don’t mean thematically, although there is a lot of that. I mean at times, it’s hard to actually see what’s going on, like some of the much-complained about night battles on the last season of Game of Thrones.

Doom Patrol: Penultimate Patrol

  Doom Patrol has been jumping around in their characters’ histories as the season has been going along, and now we see more of Eric Morden before he had his origin. It’s something of a prelude to the origin we saw in episode one, set in 1946 Chicago.

Daredevil: Karen

We’ve gotten a lot of hints about Karen’s backstory. This episode fills in the details, and takes its time to do it. To me, this doesn’t seem to jibe with the hints she herself has dropped about what’s she’s done before, especially her final showdown with Wesley.

Titans: Trigon

Last season of Titans ended in a major cliffhanger. Trigon made it to Earth, Dick fell under his sway, and his most powerful allies are trapped outside the cloaking/force field.
