Heroes Reborn: Company Woman

Heroes Reborn races towards its finale in “Company Woman.” It has been announced that this will be a series, not season, finale. I guess the ratings weren’t there to keep things going. Evo powers can’t fix everything.

iZombie: Method Head

Back from the winter hiatus, Liv Moore and her friends return for, “Method Head” this week’s episode of iZombie. They open on a down beat, as Ravi tells Major and Liv about Hope, his experimental rat. With no warning, the “cure” wore off, which is not at all what Major wants to hear. This is also when Ravi finds out that Liv and Major broke up last episode. Blaine, too, is equally thrilled when he hears about the temporariness of the cure.

Heroes Reborn: Send In The Clones

In a programming choice that still baffles me, the Heroes Reborn series went on hiatus ten episodes in. Then, with only three shows left, they came back before most of the other shows that went on winter break. The show’s ratings aren’t the best, and there’s a lot of doubt about it coming back after the initial thirteen episode run. Maybe NBC is burning off the episodes.

Supergirl: Blood Bonds

Supergirl debuted later than most of the fall shows, and is still doing some odd stuff schedule-wise. It went to hiatus later than the others, and now seems to be back early for one week. I’m not sure I see the plan there, but we get to see a new episode early, so I’ll take it.

Jessica Jones s1 ep 4: 99 Friends

The fourth episode of Jessica Jones is called “99 Friends.” Like all the episode titles, this one will make sense by the end of the show. Jessica starts off at the subway, a picture clenched in her hands. After finding out last episode that Kilgrave had someone spying on her, she is both kind of freaked out and trying to find out who’s doing it. The one thing she’s relieved about is that there are no pictures of Luke, so he should be safe.

Who’s Who on Legends of Tomorrow

With a nice series of lead-ins from the CW shows Arrow and Flash, Legends of Tomorrow is slated to start airing in January. A mix of heroes and villains from both shows are brought together to fight an immortal foe throughout time. Below is a brief explanation about who the main characters are.

Supergirl: Hostile Takeover

Since it debuted after the other shows this season, the winter finale for Supergirl comes a bit later than most of the other shows currently running. “Hostile Takeover” has several surprises along the way for several of the cast. Most of them aren’t good, and a few of them I didn’t quite understand.

Arrow: Dark Waters

The mid-season finale arrives for Arrow in “Dark Waters.” It starts off well enough, following up on Oliver’s project to clean up the harbor. It looks like a huge success, with a lot of people turning out, and some good press coverage for Oliver. Of course, things don’t stay bright and cheery on Arrow for long, so I wasn’t terribly surprised when the event was attacked, although it was a new and different kind of attack, I’ll give them that.

Flash: Running to Stand Still

Flash’s mid-season finale arrives with “Running to Stand Still.” The opening is creepy. Wells is running through what I believe is the Earth 2 STAR Labs, taunted by Zoom. Wells gets to some very impressive looking gun, but really, guns don’t work too well with speedsters involved. Suffice to say there is more taunting.
