I’m a superhero geek, and I really enjoy it when someone does something particularly good in the genre. The last several years, the CW/DC Comics shows have done an annual crossover, and I think they’ve been getting better and better.
Things take a turn, and various parental figures are confronted, as Black Lightning deals with “The Book of Rebellion: Chapter One: Exodus.”
Since DC released Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen as a double feature in the theater, I’m going to review them together.
The Flash celebrates a special 100th episode with, “What’s Past is Prologue,” which is not only a very eventual episode for the show, but leads into this year’s big crossover, Elseworlds.
The Legends have a lot to deal with in, “Hell No, Dolly!” including evil spirits, a rogue teammate, secrets at the Time Bureau, and the Voodoo Queen herself.
Arrow finally gets a new direction with Oliver out of prison as we get two story lines that work for the title, “Unmasked.”
A few secrets are revealed on several fronts among the Supergirl crew in “Bunker Hill.” On that note, there will be some spoilers below. Be warned.
The live action sorta interpretation of the Titans continues in their third episode, “Origins.”
Following up on the weird events in rural South Freeland, Black Lightning continues the string of long titles with “The Book of Blood: Chapter Three: The Sange.”
“O Come All Ye Thankful” starts off with a near miss, as Barry follows up on a lead from last episode and damn near comes face to face with Cicada himself.
