The animated opening, very much in the style of both Bewitched and I Dream of Jeanie, is crammed full of interesting little Easter Eggs.
The superhero genre is so wide you can tell almost any kind of story in it, and they take full advantage of that here. The various hints at more going on promise some interesting developments down the road.
What we got just wasn’t worth that wait, and it pains me to say it.
Now that I’ve finally seen it, I don’t think it was anywhere near as bad as the rumors hinted.
After seven seasons, lots of fighting, battles, and successful missions, it’s the end of the line for the Agents of SHIELD. The series wraps up with a two-hour, double-episode finale, so this will be split in two parts.
Stargirl’s first season wraps up with a hell of a fight. The series has been confirmed for a second season, but it will be only on the CW, as all the series from DC Universe are abandoning that sinking ship.
As the end of season two approaches, the Doom Patrol is, somehow, managing to get even weirder. This episode sees the return of an old enemy, a new status quo for one of the characters, and a lot of strange events.
Stargirl’s first season is almost over, although season two has been confirmed. It will be airing on the CW, leaving DC Universe, the future of which is very much in doubt.
It’s very near the end of the road for the Agents of SHIELD. After this, there’s a two hour special finale, and that’s it. So, a moment of silence for the passing of a show I’ve really enjoyed with some great characters.
