Batwoman: Off With Her Head

One of the things that is really separating Batwoman from the other CW shows is that they are devoting a lot of time to character work and focusing on one major story, the twisted and tragic tale of Alice.

Harley Quinn: Harley Quinn Highway

The second half of Harley Quinn’s initial season has been a rocky trip for most of the cast. Where we left off last, Harley finally made it into the Legion of Doom, but she lost her crew and Ivy’s friendship in the process. Ivy herself managed to get in over her head and get captured, and things aren’t looking great for anyone.

Harley Quinn: A High Bar

   I admit that I’m having a split reaction to DC Universe’s Harley Quinn. The writing, casting, and voice performances are actually pretty good. The blood-spatter fight scenes aren’t to my taste at all. Harley is a favorite character of mine, I’m just not sure about this take on some of it.

“The Fearsome Dr. Crane” – Gotham episode review

When it comes to gun play, it feels like Gotham characters read the script and know they can’t kill somebody at a given moment, so they wait too long to shoot, miss their target entirely or flat out don’t take the shot. Such is the fate of “The Fearsome Dr. Crane” just as it is with most episodes of Gotham.
