Batwoman: Trust Destiny

Anyone who has studied military history and/or tactics will tell you that fighting a two-front war isn’t a good idea. Unfortunately for them, that’s what Batwoman and her allies have been doing most of the season, when it’s not more like three or four fronts.

Batwoman: Loose Tooth

The theme of the third season of Batwoman seems to be the trophies from former Batman foes giving rise to new villains. They did Mad Hatter well, but I was puzzled by the title of “Loose Tooth.” The only Bat-foe I could think of that might work for was Killer Croc, and I couldn’t see how that would give rise to a new version. They actually handled it pretty well.

Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey

Later in the year, Marvel debuts it’s second movie with a female lead as we learn more (posthumously, sort of) about the Avenger Black Widow. DC will release a sequel to its smash hit Wonder Woman, with more adventures of the Amazonian Princess. But before we get to those, there’s a mixture of heroes and villains in Gotham City with Birds of Prey. Or Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. Or Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.
