One of the things I love about the Young Justice cartoon is that the writers seem to be fans of the characters themselves. They work in all kinds of little Easter Eggs, nods, and little moments of trivia, as well as taking advantage of being on their own Earth to invent new bits of history that fit

As the season hits its end, the battle kicks into high gear on the streets of Freeland. At the risk of using a cliché, things really will never be the same for the show after this episode.
As if the fight against the ASA wasn’t bad enough, now the heroes are taking on a foreign country. The ASA has been using the threat of Markovia to justify their brutal actions in Freeland, and now Markovia is actually doing things that are ticking off the heroes.
