I have to say, I’m going to miss the show. It’s been great seeing an important character from comic book history finally appearing in live action, and even getting his own show.

The last season of Black Lightning hasn’t exactly been an uplifting one. Despite them ending the third season with a big win, there were losses along the way and those shadows are looming large over the characters. This isn’t helped by many of them spending most of this season making one bad decision after another.

Black Lightning: The Book of War: Chapter Three: Liberation

As the season hits its end, the battle kicks into high gear on the streets of Freeland. At the risk of using a cliché, things really will never be the same for the show after this episode.
