Supergirl: Truth or Consequences

The final season of Supergirl has been uneven, and that might be kind. There have been some truly abysmal episodes, and a few decent, but not great ones. We’re back to the “decent” side of things, which is at least better than horrible.

Beebo Saves Christmas

In their third season, the Legends introduced an audioanimatronic toy called Beebo. Beebo became a running joke, and has now appeared on all the Arrowverse shows except the two newest, Batwoman and Superman and Lois.

Batwoman: Loose Tooth

The theme of the third season of Batwoman seems to be the trophies from former Batman foes giving rise to new villains. They did Mad Hatter well, but I was puzzled by the title of “Loose Tooth.” The only Bat-foe I could think of that might work for was Killer Croc, and I couldn’t see how that would give rise to a new version. They actually handled it pretty well.

Legends of Tomorrow: The Need for Speed

One thing you can say about the Legends of Tomorrow is that they aren’t afraid to shake things up. Almost the entire original cast is gone, and the focus of the series has shifted over and over again. Now the team is trapped in 1925 with no ship, and the Waverider did a lot for them in terms of day to day needs.

Stargirl: Summer School, Chapter 11

The great evil of Eclipso was released by Cindy Burman AKA Shiv, Stargirl’s nemesis, and the town has been paying for it, especially those nearest and dearest to Courtney. While the titular plotline has been pretty much dropped as part of the story, the evil of Eclipso continues in “Summer School, Chapter Eleven.”
