Oh my are we really getting into some comic book, superhero goodness with today’s Comic Book Classics Revisited! What better way to enter into the last two comics in my Ultron Handbook than to have a reminder of how exciting these stories used to be? As The Avengers (1998) #21 starts, we are getting a recap of Ultron’s brutal invasion and decimation of Baltic nation Slorenia. The United Nations forces taking part in “Operation Metalstorm” are experiencing heavy resistance from the cybernetic/zombified former citizens of Slorenia. Just when the U.N. forces are sure they are about to be utterly wiped out…

Ultron has returned and so has Comic Book Classics Revisited! Today, the Ultron Handbook will continue our last story arc as we feature The Avengers (1998) #20. In part one, Ultron got busy kidnapping some key people (including the Grim Reaper and Hank Pym) and then decided to level the small Baltic country of Slorenia. Now, the Avengers must fight back to finally put an end to this robotic monster!

Comic Book Classics Revisited has returned… And so has Ultron! Our Ultron Handbook rolls on as we’ve come to The Avengers #67. In the previous issue, we saw the Vision betray his Avengers brethren and assists in the creation of Ultron-6, now clad in indestructible adamantium!

Comic Book Classics Revisited continues the Ultron Handbook with the third Ultron story that starts with today’s The Avengers (1963 Series) #66! Previously, we’ve seen Ultron first appearing as the “Crimson Cowl” who gathered together a new Masters of Evil to take down the Avengers. We’ve also seen Ultron try to take out his hated foes by creating an android, later named The Vision, to infiltrate and lead the Avengers to their doom. It wasn’t until the last issue (#58) where we get a backstory of where Ultron came from – he was an experiment gone bad (really bad) for Hank Pym. So, now we’re all caught up. It’s time to jump into the third Ultron story!
