Some have been tragic, some dramatic, and a few have been more on the humorous side. “What If Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?” is definitely one of those. There’s all kinds of action and a few nods to assorted Christmas stories as we see an Avengers Christmas party like no other.
In 2012, Marvel Studios made history. Not only did the Avengers set all kinds of box office records at the time, but for the first time, characters that had headlined their own movies came together as a team for a major event. In the MCU, there were six founding Avengers, and five of them have had their own movie, or movies. Hawkeye, often overlooked and with arguably the smallest part in both his first appearance (Thor) and The Avengers, now gets the Disney+ treatment in his own six episode series.
Disney+ has been producing some great additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. WandaVision was surreally amazing, and The Falcon and The Winter Solider was a great buddy cop/adventure story with some events that should change the future of the MCU. Now Loki gets his turn in a six part series explaining what happened to the God of Mischief after he escaped during the Avengers’ hijinks in time as seen in Endgame.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe takes another step forward (or is that backwards?) as Captain Marvel chronicles events from several years before things started off with Iron Man.
I don’t think I’ve seen a bad movie from Marvel Studios yet. I’ll grant I’m not wild about the Hulk, but I’ve never really liked the character (barring Peter David’s amazing run on the comic) and I’m not sure how much that one counts considering they recast the main character and the teased villain was never followed up on.
It’s really hard to review Avengers: Infinity War while meeting two criteria: 1) No Spoilers and 2) Not just typing WOW over and over again.
Haley Atwell is back as Agent Carter… in voice only. She’ll reprise her fan-favorite role on the latest incarnation of the Avengers cartoon. I’m glad to hear this, but I still want more live-action Agent Carter. Then again, I also preferred Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes on the cartoon front.
