Harley Quinn: Devil’s Snare
Picking up from where last episode left off, the crew has a major battle raging. Scarecrow’s new potion has twisted an aspect of Ivy’s powers, and the resulting ugly is rampaging through Gotham’s Robinson Park.

The Legends remain split up this episode, with different members off attending to various tasks. Most of the team goes after a new Encore, some are dealing with one of their member’s dark past, and a few are off on personal business. Even with their forces divided, the team managed to come out “A Head of Her Time.”
Last episode, a few twists were revealed as Iris was trapped in the mirror dimension. There was also a bit more about the mysterious Black Hole organization, who I think it’s safe to say will be the looming big bad of the season’s second half.
Last episode featured the return of Winn Schott (twice), more scheming by Lex and Lena, and a set up for this second part of the story. Everyone is still settling in to the new world and their place in it, and there are various hiccups to deal with.
Batwoman has been a great series… until now.
The second half of Harley Quinn’s initial season has been a rocky trip for most of the cast. Where we left off last, Harley finally made it into the Legion of Doom, but she lost her crew and Ivy’s friendship in the process. Ivy herself managed to get in over her head and get captured, and things aren’t looking great for anyone.
The Encores, villains of history returned from Hell, have been pretty firmly established as the big problems for the season. It’s hard to deal with immortal bad guys, and the first two were taken out in fairly unique ways that are hard to repeat.
Last episode ended with Iris proving why it’s often not a great idea to go off by yourself in this kind of show. Now, things are different although no one can put their finger on what’s going on. We also get Valentine’s Day drama, the return of a very entertaining foe, and have several missing cast members once again.
Jefferson and company need to put a team together, try and train them to work together, or at least stop sniping at each other, and deal with a new enemy. Things aren’t off to a smooth start in “The Book of Markovia: Chapter Four: Grab the Strap.”
Aside from the new opening, the Legends’ big challenges this season seem to be the “Encores,” some of the worst of Hell being back on Earth, and uncovering what happened when Zari changed history and wrote herself out of the Legends’ memories.
