Legends of Tomorrow: This Is Gus

The Legends of Tomorrow have been going through more changes than usual lately. Between people coming and going, characters going through assorted changes, and shifting goals for the season, the status quo has been bending a lot. They do more of that, but also go to great lengths to undo at least one change in “This is Gus.”

Titans: Barbara Gordon

The Titans, a live action series that started on the now-defunct DC Universe and migrated to HBO Max along with Doom Patrol, returns for their third season. Season two ended with the tragic (and poorly written) death of Donna Troy, AKA Wonder Girl.

Flash: P.O.W.

There are multiple, apparently identical, speedsters running around, Team Flash is outnumbered and arguably out gunned, and one of their depleted number goes off on their own.

What If…? T’Challa Became a Star-Lord?

The second episode changes things on a more cosmic level, with a lot of fascinating repercussions. As with last week, the title gives you basic concept: “What If T’Challa Became A Star-Lord?” This is, it’s worth noting, the last performance of any kind from Chadwick Boseman.

Flash: Enemy at the Gates

Flash’s long-term planning has been all sorts of thrown off over the last year or so. COVID changed the spacing and timing on a few major plot elements, and in some ways it feels like they’ve been struggling to get back on track ever since. When in doubt, they toss the mysterious Godspeed into the mix.

Batwoman: Power

The surprisingly good second season of Batwoman finally comes to an end with “Power.” Black Mask makes his big play, alliances shift and reform, there are some more surprises and nods to the comics, and one issue I’ve commented on that puts Batwoman at a disadvantage compared to most of the other Arrowverse heroes finally gets rectified.
