Supergirl: Confidence Women

Supergirl’s season five has been the weakest so far with a lot of flaws and some really irksome characters. One of them, Andrea Rojas, has been a workplace adversary for Kara Danvers since she bought CatCo and upended the standards of excellence that place used to have.

Titans: Bruce Wayne

The Titans’ second season is about at the halfway point, and there’s a lot left to do. They’ve done nothing effective against their big foe, Deathstroke, most of them haven’t even appeared in costume in the current era, and, even though they’re listed that way in the credits on IMDB this week, Raven and Beast Boy/Changeling (better name, always will be) haven’t taken their code names.

Arrow: Present Tense

Last episode ended with a major surprise as the future team suddenly appeared in the current era bunker, along with Oliver, transported from Nanda Parbat. Now, two generations of heroes and families are trying to figure out what’s going on and how, or if, they can work together.

Watchmen: She Was Killed By Space Junk

Laurie Blake, the second Silk Spectre, has gone through a lot of changes since the events of the Watchmen graphic novel (or movie if you prefer). She’s the central figure of this episode, played by Jean Smart. Smart was recently seen in Fox’s incredibly odd Legion show, so she joins the ever-growing list of actors who have played characters for both Marvel and DC.

Arrow: Leap of Faith

Arrow continues its eighth and final season/farewell tour as we get to visit more things from the past. The show is impressively managing to move the story forward while giving curtain calls to elements we’ve seen before.
