Legends of Tomorrow: Paranoid Android

One of the great strengths of Legends of Tomorrow is their willing to play with the status quo and take some risks with their episodes. Throughout the current season, it’s become apparent that someone or something is working against the Legends, and last episode ended with the shocking reveal that there are dopplegangers of the team working against them.

Flash: Armageddon Part 4

The CW’s big crossover events are something that a lot of fans, me included, look forward to. Like so many other things, last year’s was cancelled due to complications from COVID. In part to try and make up for that, The Flash began season eight with a five-part event called Armageddon.

The Call is Coming From Inside the House

The third season of Titans has been ambitious, to say the very least. They’ve crammed in several major stories from various Batman comics and added some other simmering plots as well. The team has lost members, gotten a few back, and is handily losing the war for the hearts and minds of Gotham to Jonathan Crane and his hypnotized and drugged lackey, Jason Todd.

Peacemaker: Better Goff Dead

The surprisingly entertaining insanity that is Peacemaker continues its way through the season. We’ve heard the tiniest bit about their mission, and met the team assembled for it. Now, the very odd anti-hero, the team that doesn’t like him, and his stalkerish best friend come together and start tackling the problem.

Flash: Armageddon Part 3

The five part Armageddon event on Flash has been busy already, bringing in various guest stars to face the menace of Despero. This version of Despero is from the future and is determined to kill Barry because, in Despero’s time, Flash goes mad and destroys the world. Now, Team Flash needs to find out what’s going on with Barry, figure out a way to stop Despero, and keep things from going utterly bad for the Scarlet Speedster. Part 3 shows Barry looking for special help from a character we haven’t seen for a while.

Batwoman: Pick Your Poison

Batwoman has had a very busy third season, as new versions of Bat-foes emerge, family complications ensnare everyone, and difficult choices loom. Now we see Mary infected by Poison Ivy, Alice causing her usual chaos, and a new threat emerging.

Peacemaker: Best Friends for Never

John Cena’s Peacemaker was an odd but entertaining part of 2021’s The Suicide Squad. Apparently writer/director James Gunn thought so too, creating a spinoff series for the character, despite his apparent death near the end of the movie. Now back and with a team of misfits on a special mission we’re learning very little about, Peacemaker is out of his depth and flailing around in “Best Friends for Never,” his show’s second episode.

Naomi: Enigma

Naomi is an interesting new series, but they are starting to drag out a few things bit too much. Our titular hero has some weird kind of aura or something along those lines that makes everyone like her and want to please her, and, while she has powers, that one seems to be ignored.
