Life has been busy, so I got behind on a few things, including trailers. I recently got a chance to catch up on several of them, so I thought I’d give a run through of what I saw and my reactions. There’s some great looking stuff coming up.
A lot has been said about the various Sony Spider-adjacent movies. The latest (and reportedly last) of these, Kraven, is no exception.
But Sony kept cranking out various movies with Spider-Man related characters that the general public was likely unfamiliar with. The only one of these to meet any measure of success was Venom, who is now back for his third and final (allegedly) outing in Venom: Last Dance.
After several delays, Sony’s Morbius finally made it into the theater. After even more delays, I got a chance to see it. The really short version of this review is that it’s good, but not great. For a bit more in depth commentary, read on.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage was an uneven ride that I needed a bit to figure out a way to sum up. I finally settled on calling it a hyperviolent version of the Odd Couple meets superhuman Bonnie and Clyde.
