This episode shakes Courtney up, shows the difference between blood and chosen family, confirms something I was afraid of, and sheds more light on the background of one of the so-far minor characters.
Events are really picking up steam as so many plotlines crash into each other in this episode. There are questions about allegiance, honesty, the future, and the past, as characters deal with some very wrenching discoveries on many fronts.
While there’s a lot of focus on one character, we see bits and pieces of a few other things of importance. I love that they are throwing in so many things for long term readers like me, but you don’t have to know them to follow the story.
The team sort of gets together, we see just why the bad guys are so dangerous, and there’s a great scene where Courtney finally sort of connects with Pat on a real level.
The newest DC/CW show, Stargirl, has been a lot of fun. While there’s absolutely a darkness in the backstory, most of the present has been fairly light and entertaining. That’s absolutely not the case anymore. The leader of the villains returns to Blue Valley, and things aren’t going to be the same, in all sorts…
Things are speeding along towards the end of the season on the Flash. Barry made a rash decision last episode, and that causes a lot of complications for this one.
