Earth Prime #5

DC Comics is releasing comics based on the various shows in a miniseries called Earth Prime. We’ve seen Superman and Lois, Stargirl, Batwoman, and the Legends of Tomorrow. Now, it’s time to visit Central City and see some of Team Flash.

Icon and Rocket: Season One

As he learned more about Earth culture, he took the name Augustus Freeman, and, due to his extended lifespan, is now known as August Freeman IV. Marooned on Earth, he became a lawyer (closest to his profession before landing here) and waited for rescue.

Static: Season One

McDuffie and a few partners created Milestone Media, a company focusing on minority characters, the first four of which were Hardware, Icon, Blood Syndicate, and Static.

Earth Prime #4: Stargirl

DC Comics is continuing their adaptation of Arrowverse shows in a limited series. It’s kind of a meta concept, with characters that started in comics going to tv and now coming back to the comics. So far, they’ve covered Batwoman, Superman and Lois, and the Legends of Tomorrow. Now it’s Stargirl’s turn.

Earth Prime #3: Legends of Tomorrow

The third issue is about the Legends of Tomorrow, and, as with the others, they take a different spin on things. Over the show’s seven seasons, a lot of characters have come and gone. Between the main story and the backups, we get to see almost all the Legends that have left the team.

Earth Prime 2 of 6: Superman and Lois

DC Comics continues their exploration of stories behind their shows in “Earth Prime.” The first issue of this limited series filled in some holes in the most recent season of Batwoman. Issue two turns from Gotham to Smallville as we check in on Superman and Lois.

DC Comics: Earth Prime

Now, in an interesting spin on things, the tv shows based on the comics return to their roots in a six issue comic book series. “Earth Prime” visits several different shows from the CW, filling in some things we didn’t see, due to a combination of budget and COVID.
