Legends of Tomorrow is, without doubt, the strangest of the Arrowverse shows. The team has dealt with all manner of random threats, weird creatures, and bizarre situations. Now things get even stranger as we see what Astra has been up to for the past several episodes that she’s been absent from.
In a really big departure, Harley and her best friend Ivy are completely absent from this episode as we focus mostly on Batman, and a bit on the hapless Commissioner Gordon, as well as Batgirl and another new hero.
One of the things I love about the Young Justice cartoon is that the writers seem to be fans of the characters themselves. They work in all kinds of little Easter Eggs, nods, and little moments of trivia, as well as taking advantage of being on their own Earth to invent new bits of history that fit
The new status quo in Gotham continues to look ugly, and Harley is bound and determined to make it worse. She’s made her list, checked it twice, and now is going up against the ice.
