Thoughts on the Ant-Man Trailer – also, the useless Daredevil teaser

Now that Marvel has given us a “Man” sized trailer (as opposed to the silly “Ant” sized trailer stunt), we can finally get a look at Ant-Man.  The trailer might be short on info, but it’s long on images.

Am I the only one surprised that they’ve already shown Paul Rudd in the Ant-Man costume?  It is the first trailer, after all… but it’s no skin off my nose.  I’m just surprised, is all – and even more surprised that they didn’t save Ant-Man riding a flying ant for a second trailer when they got closer to the release date, but there we are.

Also, Michael Douglas is the bad guy in this movie, right?  He’s clearly the bad guy.  I’m sure he’s all, “Steal things as Ant-Man for me or I’ll kill your daughter!” and what not.

Anyway, I’m more excited to see Ant-Man in a future Avengers movie – Paul Rudd is the perfect guy to play the comic relief in one of those flicks.

Let’s wrap up with the Daredevil show’s teaser.

Wow, guys – don’t drop it all at once!  They managed to do less than that Dark Knight teaser.  That’s impressive in a way.
